Filled an extra doe tag for an employee of mine who didn’t get a chance to hunt all year due to his wife having cancer! This is part of being a hunter, we work together to help each other out!

Admire the cause, applaud you for that, but most would carry this out humbly and quietly without seemingly seeking attention for the good deed. Or maybe I'm off base.

I pray the man's wife will recover fully. I hate Cancer will all my being.

I would have much preferred to see you process down the meat, and package it up for him than just watch you shoot a doe.

For something like this, i agree with everyone above this is desperate...as my kids would say “don’t be so thirsty”

A video with something informative in it is much preferred over your product placement. Breaking down the deer and processing it can he informative for someone. Use your videos for something good, not just product placement.

My opinion (and you’ve not really taken any feedback in the past so I assume I’m doing this more for everyone else more than you) is product pays the bills or pays for cool toys and you have to get them in. There are three ways to do it 1 - product reviews 2 - show a video with the product in it without saying a word just letting people see it being used 3 - a cheesy script or cheesy placement 4 - credits at the end

3 of the 4 of these have widely been accepted...the last one either comes off looking douchey or whoreish more often than not.

I’ll give you a great example of a great one...I recently ran across “The Hunting Public” on Amazon Prime and started watching videos from 2017 and 2018 of these guys shooting some big bucks on public ground. I was through one whole season before I realized I had no clue the brand of bow, treestands, broadhead, etc these guys were using. That is why I continued to watch, because it was about the hunting and figuring the deer out and not about selling product. But you know what, I guarantee you those guys are selling the hell out of some products and why some might ask? Because they are successful and don’t tell you but show you. Cool series thus far and I know I should be digging YouTube, just can’t get into it.

I don't know this guy, and am hoping he was helping out a friend. I can see that this can be taken different ways. Only he knows what is in his heart. Anyway, I hope his friend enjoys the deer, and there is a positive outcome to the cancer.
