The only time I haven’t shaken hands was when I was working overseas around a bunch of Indians (red dot). Bangladeshies are the filthiest people I’ve ever been around. They drop a duece and don’t wash their hands, then they sit on the floor & eat their food with their bare hands, and lick their fingers and long fingernails when done. I ain’t touching that.

We have solved that by getting individual cakes at Nothing Bundt cakes. Best thing that ever happened. Now, we all get the kind of cake we want and none of the extra spit.

I used to have a competitor that was missing his right thumb. When you shook his hand it always slid to the elbow. We had a customer in common missing the same thumb. The customer was north of Monroe LA. One day we arrived at his location at the same time. I stood back and said I’ve been waiting to see this for a long time. Dan said what? I told them I’d wondered if they rubbed palms, twinkle fingered each other or hugged. They got a kick out of that.

I shake hands. Some people don't want to thats fine, I'll bump fist, elbows or whatever. I know quite a few old folks, they seem to be the most into the elbow bumping thing.

Handshakes, hugs, fist bumps, whatever the situation calls for. We have just traveled from Houston to San Diego and back over the last 2 months, seen some old friends, made some new ones, life isn’t without risks, you just have to mitigate them, and live your life.

We had a hunter that was a conservative Second Amendment type of guy show up for a whitetail management hunt.
He said that he chose to fist bump anymore since some people don't want to do a handshake. So we did the fist bump. I felt like a fruitcake.
Then we sat in a deer blind and breathed the same air for 2 hours.
