You can have Giordano's ship frozen pizzas. I did it in the past for my pops and it was pretty tasty. https://ship.giordanos.com/#_ga=2.197534699.576081441.1609887852-1538523700.1609887852

Papa Murphy’s take and bake stuffed pizza used to be good. Haven’t had it in years.
I just turned it on . I was looking bird dogs in the butt this morning.

I love Chicago pizza. Lou Malnatis is my favorite. But not the same delivered to your home. X2

There's a Godfather's Pizza Express in Ennis. You and Derek could have a pizza and driveway beers.

There is no place in DFW if you know Chicago pizza.
There's also no place for an Italian beef sandwich. Neither is there a place anymore for a good Philly cheese steak.
To be determined

You can order Giordanos to your home. Comes frozen, bake at home. Its probably not 100% the same, but it is still good. I've eaten at one in Chicago. good stuff for sure! I think I did too bigbob. Is this the one that you have to go downstairs in downtown Chicago?

My friends in Chicago call deep dish pizza "tourist" pizza and eat it maybe once a year or when someone from out of town visits. They prefer thin crust most of the time.
5th Street Pizza in Allen does good Chicago style thin crust and St. Louis style (uses provel cheese)

There is no place in DFW if you know Chicago pizza. This is true. Chicago pizza sucks anway. Neither is there a place anymore for a good Philly cheese steak. This wasnt true up until COVID killed Captain Nemo's in Irving That place kicked any of those well known philly cheese steak places in philly's butt.

Big Tony’s has a few locations in dfw (I’ve been to Allen and Plano) and they make a pretty good Philly, they bring the bread from Philly supposedly. It is better than pats and Genos in Philly in my opinion. Best Philly in Philly is Jim’s.

I was really unhappy with that the time I did it, just didn't taste right to me. It's not the same ambiance, and not the same oven, but I thought it was still pretty dang good. When we lived in Chicago (2 years), we preferred Giordanos to Ginos. Now there are a number of alternatives.

I prefer Lou Malnati's butter crust, I have spent a lot of time in Chicago over the years and if I am going to eat deep dish that is my choice. Unfortunately they do not ship pizza like Giordano's. I would rather eat regular pizza however.
If only Portillo's would deliver hotdogs and Italian beef sandwiches. If you haven't had them you should do yourself a favor.
