Looking for suggestions on good scope for Ruger 10/22. Not planning on shooting anything further than 100 yards at the maximum. I recently had a Vortex Crossfire II 3-9X50 but decided to put that on the .308 and get something different for the 22. Thank for any recommendations in advance.

I love 22's but in particular 10/22s. I also dislike 3-9 these days for 22s. I think i'd go either up to 10-12x OR lower mag for a smaller profile. One of myu favorite budget scopes are Leapers/UTG. The UTG pro series, like their rings, are made in usa.

Back in the day i put a 3-9x32 simmons on my 10/22. I cant say it is the clearest or best in low light, but it holds zero and is more than enough for what i use it for (not much) i like the low profile and find that 3 on the low end and 9 on the high end is more than enough for me.

Good morning,

On my Ruger 10/22 take-down, I like the Leupold 1.5-5x20 with the paralax fixed from the factory at 50yds. It is compact and has all the magnification I need for squirrel and rabbits as far as I care to shoot a 22.

Side note, on my bolt action 22lr. I have a 3-9x but, for the 10-22 I feel it preferable to have a more compact optic.

Take a look at the 22 FIRE 3-9X40 BDC Rimfire Rifle Scope from Tract Optics.
