Congrats! I have one very similar; serial number 18,xxx - manufactured in 1908. It was my grandfather's who I assume traded for it (he sold made and sold corn liquor in West Tennessee up until the 60's or so). Neither he nor my dad are still alive to ask. My brother and I have a handful of antiques from them, and I'll have to say that this is for sure my favorite.

I also found a number of old adds for these a while back - at some point I'm going to make a display case and do some photoshop work to merge a few of these together.

Very cool stuff! It's interesting the one ad lists "Schuetzen Target Ranges." Very few people even know what that is anymore. There's a few clubs around Fredericksburg. They were more than shooting competitions, they were a major social event!
