It's Shout laundry stain remover that I can't find in stores anywhere. It's to best stuff I've found for getting the oil stains out of my clothes. Have no idea why it's so hard to find.
Anyone else noticed some product that leaves you scratching your head as to why you can't find it on store shelves?

Dark Karo Syrup at my local HEB, plenty of the light stuff.

My MIL could not find Karo syrup, so we got no peanut brittle this year. We also have had a hard time finding oxyclean spot remover. Have also had a hard time finding vanilla yogurt on occasion.

It's been crazy here too. The Dixie paper plates and bowls that we like are non-existent, Shout stain remover is gone, some of the aluminum foils, even Bounty paper towels??? The wife likes the Sprite Zero, and they quit making them because of the aluminum can shortage. All the 2 liter bottles you want, but they don't fit in any shelf on the fridge or cabinets.

I took the same approach someone suggested with ammo and placed a pick-up order with my local Kroger thinking that perhaps the store is satisfying those orders before placing any bottles on the shelf. I'll be every interested to see if the order is ready for pickup at the quoted time later today.

It's gonna get worse before it gets better... If it ever does.
Have been in "buy what you can when you find it" mode for awhile now.
I really do not think things will ever get back to what it was a year ago. Hope I'm wrong.

I have done quite a few Kroger pickup orders and just about every one has a few things not filled, due to being out of that product. Good luck with your order

Good luck with your order I know HEB doesn't give first dibs to those curbside pick ups, when I am there you see them filling those orders as to correspond with the pick up times. It's easier to just go in to get stuff, I don't like the surprise of well we don't have this as they are giving you your groceries.

Jarred alfredo sauce. It's a staple for my kids, but hasn't been on the shelf in months. Only brand available is Ragu, which apparently is terrible.

Kroger's Ad last week featured Pork Roast at 88 cents a Lb ...hit the store 5 times over 3 days 'cause it's only 10 minutes from home and never saw a single piece of it...yesterdays Ad Flyer lists the same item at triple+ that price. Not gonna drive to the nearest other Kroger over an hour away in Naca Nowhere either....
Brookshire's Tyler or Brookshire Brothers does not hold a candle to Kroger's prices and selections ...but HEB in Corsicana beats all 3 of them and is "only 2 hours away one way. We've started shopping Ad Merchandise when we are in the DFW area markets chasing Auction Merchandise for our Home Decor Bidness up to several times a week. Ron

It's easier to just go in to get stuff, I don't like the surprise of well we don't have this as they are giving you your groceries. It appears the same is true for Kroger. Got an email about an hour before the pickup time asking if substitute items were acceptable. I'm glad they asked because I overlooked the check box on the order for that purpose.

Anyone else noticed some product that leaves you scratching your head as to why you can't find it on store shelves? I got one of the last two refill bottles of Shout at Walmart today. They didn’t have any spray bottles, and no other brands. Only had three bottles of Soft Scrub as well. I took one of those.

I was shocked at the store yesterday. Actually found Alfredo sauce on the shelf, so I can make some specialty pizza for the wife

UPDATE: I found Shout at the Family Dollar in Lovelady and picked up two bottles for the wife. Not sure but perhaps these small stores in rural areas get frequent deliveries despite having a small customer base.
