Something comforting about just plain old B&G, and a slow morning over coffee. After starting my usual eggs, I noticed there were only two left in the carton. Who saves two eggs?? Never thought of having eggs on top... going to try soon! Then you haven't turned the volume up to 11 on a amplifier that stops at 10.....

When I used to fish at Harlan Reservoir in Nebraska, there was a little hole in the wall restaurant that would serve something similar to this for breakfast and man was it good. BIG plate - the bottom layer was fried seasoned potatoes, next layer was cut up chicken fried steak, next layer was biscuits, next layer was eggs, and all of that got topped off with sausage gravy and cheese if you wanted it. I would get that with bacon and pancakes on the side. You talk about getting FULL!

The reason forks are flat on the sides - scraping up every last bit of that gravy, and I have been known to use my finger (every once in a while!).

The grape jelly part is really good along with a splat of Frank's hot sauce!
