She was kicking and raising all kinds of hell when I walked up. Then she just calmed down and I was able to pick her up and my girlfriend was able to free her foot. Pretty cool moment!

Feels good to do a good deed, I have gotten 2 bucks out of similar situations. one was a little button buck that behaved very well and he hung out in that pasture for several weeks, upped the amount the feeder was throwing otu and opened the feed pen by removing one panel. The first one was a small 4pt, threw a heavy blanket over him and flipped him over the fence, he ran off seemingly good to go, the next week the same buck was dead in the fence in the same place. I just delayed what would happen. like some people, some never learn, at least you did your part.

Great job. I released a cod once from a fence. Her hip was pretty messed up though.
