My extractor on my Remington model
700 is damaged and needs to be replaced. I took it to a local gun place but they weren't working on guns right now for whatever reason. Is this something I could order and replace myself ? He gave me a name
Of a place in Tulsa to send it for repair. Just wondered what some
More knowledgeable people might suggest I do or if it's best to just have it done professionally.

You can also send the bolt off to LRI in South Dakota and have an AR-15/M-16 style extractor conversion done for $175.
