Anyone offering hunts for either Chamois or Thar? Since these are Alpine animals not sure how adaptable to Texas they would be.

I remember a few years ago one of the Exotic Ranch’s was offering Tahr hunts. As I recall it would have been cheaper to go to New Zealand.

Not sure anybody has chamois but tahr are available in texas. 777 ranch squaw mountain and texas hunt lodge are possibilities

I have some amazing tahr here in Texas believe it or not they have wonderful coats as well. We’ve also shot a few chamois here in Texas as well.
