That’s awesome! Have any info about it? The bird was a 2020 hatchling and was banned September 3rd in Monroe county Illinois.

That’s awesome! Have any info about it? The bird was a 2020 hatchling and was banned September 3rd in Monroe county Illinois. Hey Mods, what did the poor bird do that got him banned? All kidding aside, that's neat. I remember my first banded bird and that was about 30 years ago.

She went from banned to canned pretty quick.... I saw that little misspell but it didn't give me the option to edit it.

Surprised such a young dumb bird made it to Texas, assuming y’all shot it here. Me too.....I was also surprised at how big she was the only be 4 months old. She was a little older than 4 months. Your earlier post said she was banded in Sept but was a Spring hatchling, I'll guess March or April.

Awesome!! Been waterfowl hunting for 40 years and have zero, nadda, no bands. Took a complete newbie on a teal hunt one time. First bird he shot had a band. Asked me if it was anything special.
