Yeah, I know he's mature for sure. Never came any closer than that. He was at an awkward angle from where I was sitting in the blind. Sorry for the photo quality. Freehanded iPhone 6 behind some freehanded 10x42 binos.

I'm going to step out on a limb and guess that he is a mature buck!! If that guy is in Jackson county, he is a definite shooter for that area!

Real hard to tell from the pics. Appears easily 4 but could be any age older than that.
Keep your gratitude higher than your expectations. RWH

Matagorda County, but not too far down the road. Good buck for either I think.

yeah from those pics there is really no way to tell - first pic he looks mature but I have been fooled before by still pictures that are blurry -

I'm going to try this weekend if I see him again. That's the only time this year I've seen that deer.

6+, feed him some lead... From these pics, especially the 1st one I agree.
High fence, low fence, no fence, it really doesn't matter as long as you're hunting!

Well, rifle season is over down here. Hunted this past weekend and didn't see that buck. May take my son next weekend to see if he can get a shot at him.
