I've killed a few hogs with deformities here.

This is a condition called polydactyly, extra fingers/toes. It is not a deformation in the truest sense, but anomalous addition. It is not terribly common in hogs, but people find them occasionally. Most common are the inclusion of extra due claws/hooves. Extra main hooves are less common.

The hog doesn't actually have extra feet, only extra toes. A foot includes the carpals/tarsals, metacarpals/metatarsals, and the phalanges. The feet in the image only include extra phalanges and not the other parts that make up a foot. A hog does only walk on its 3rd or terminal phalanges that are often called the food, but are only part of the foot.

Those would freak out the pickled pig's feet fans!

Must be a La. hog, need those wide feet to walk on the marsh.

We had a domestic hog that absorbed another in gestation. One very large head, two front legs, two rear ends with four back legs.

It was born alive but didn’t last long.

A friend made an ashtray out of this pig foot.

And I thought I was cool because the one I shot the other weekend had mule feet.

If they’ll eat anything I’m sure they’ll screw anything
