My father has some older binos (20+ years) and the dog chewed up the rubber eye pieces recently. Would Leupold even consider repairing these since they are so old?

They will if they’re made in the USA. Their cheaper China line they don’t warranty the same.

According to the warranty in the box with my Chinese made BX-1"s, they are covered by a lifetime warranty.

Should be good to go! I have a friend who sent a 30 year old scope in and they sent him a new scope as his wasn't repairable. Give them a call.

I know most of the parts are likely sourced in China and just assembled in the USA. I didn't know they went full China on some of their optics.

Yep, right on the box, "Made in China." I was surprised.

Call them, the lower end products typically have a different warranty, make sure you tell them you purchased the item new and that you are the original owner.
Never been to a camping world. I prefer Dick's to be honest.
