Yes they do but you need good fur to sell.

Fur Harvesters Auction, FHA , in Canada is having their auctions this winter and spring. We sell to one of their agents or ship to the auction.

Petska Fur also has routes in Texas.

Maybe contact these folks : https://www.ttfha.com/furbuyers.html

Hoping the market picks up. We did sell one bobcat past spring right after all this hit, brought a decent price for a small cat. Sounds like good heavy furred animals will bring decent prices at their auction if buyers can get into Canada, and the country is planning on letting them in with proper testing or vacc.

Groenewold Fur is buying also I believe.

I think your southern fur may be a hard sell but hoping not. Our fur should bring better prices, coyotes with guard hairs intact and bobcats will be good this year. Waiting for one of our last winter bobcats to sell at auction in early Jan.

There is a fur buyer out of North Louisiana prices are really bad
2.00 for a really big coon
5.00 to 7.00 on any fox red or grey
15.00 on bobcats
15.00 on otters
Up to 10.00 for really good coyotes

Not a good thing. In the 80s we were getting 50 dollars for a big coon,7 for opossum and 100 for bobcats.
We hunted everything we could for gas and beer money and it kinda kept us out of trouble for the time being.
Wont shoot n skin a coon for 2 bucks,

Many more fur farms now, mink etc that raise domestic fur for market.
These days it has to have great fur to go to market.

Our fur bearers up in Wyoming bring good money, this year bobcat's top dollar is $400 for us from buyers and coyotes are bringing $75 for prime hides with guard hairs intact.
Years past we could get in excess of $1,000 for bobcats at the fur auction in Canada and up to several hundred dollars for bobcats.

There’s a guy at the Canton First Monday Trade Days that said he’d buy all the bobs and yotes I bring in.

It changes every year but the past two years the market has been pretty low compared to what I was getting prior years from my buyer in San Angelo.
He does mainly bobcats and 3 years ago they ranged from 60.00 up to 275.00 but now your lucky to get 40.00

He told me just put it whole in the freezer and he’ll take care of it. I told him the wife wouldn’t wouldn’t be too happy if she found a coyote and bobcats in the same freezer as the kids corn dogs and blue bell ice cream.

Make sure about the CITES tag if you sell them , bobcats.

Groenewold has a rep up here for being too cheap on their prices. Petska beats them.
Luckily we have several buyers up this way for our good furs.

Fur buyer came through yesterday and we sold our stretched and dried hides.
Coyotes brought decent money and while bobcats are really low compared to past years, prices were ok.
Have to say, not bad money for our effort in this covid mess.

Ha, contacted the fur buyer.
He owes us $100 more and is sorry for his math mistake. He had a long day of driving across Wyoming in crappy weather.
Spouse didn't check the total so they both made a mistake but it's getting made right.
Good guy to deal with.
