I actually saw this cat yesterday, but was unable to get a clean shot. Looks like a rat in it`s mouth in both pictures and they are about an hour apart. Do you think it may be taking it to young bob cats or just hungry. I observed it around a big brush pile like it was rat hunting. 3 years on this lease and no cat sightings, now me and another hunter have seen this one in the same week and pictures as well. Nice spots on that kitty, could be taking it to young, but a cat that size will need a few rats to be full

That's one of the prettiest cats i've ever seen. I'd mount it for sure. Make sure you shoot it with a bullet that doesn't blow it into.

I would think taking it to young ones, the little time it would take for it to eat it, it would do that where caught.
