Curious as to what a bison cow hunt cost. Looking for archery, not interested in gun hunting one. Not looking for a high end type hunting, semi guided and some help with getting one dressed and on a trailer would be good though. Also how much meat can be expected.

Thanks

Lemme guess..."rifle is no longer a challenge."

'Sorry, but an animal this size deserves more than an arrow. Now if you wanna hunt them with a long bow, to be historically accurate, I get it, but the Native Americans had to pepper them with arrows...from horseback.

Well, since elephants, rhinos, cape buffalo, etc have been shot with a bow, i think I will be fine. I shot completely through a cow elk a couple of days ago with an arrow that is no where near what I will use for a bison. So, do you know of a hunt or are just here to yap?

Just yap. Was the elk recovered? Be sure and post a video of your elephant hunt with a bow. I've seen a video of one. It was with a long bow. 3 cape buff here, but I cheated with a .375 & .416 Rigby.

52 yard shot, 70 yard recovery on the elk. Just because you can't, don't mean it can't.

I never said i shot an elephant. Reading comprehension is a good skill, you should learn it

idk how to post a picture, if you do, i will gladly text you one of the elk

I have some younger bulls we sell for $4500 all inclusive with lodging and meals. Archery is welcome and we’ve shot plenty with a bow with no problems.

Last year I hunted with him , killed 1000 lb cow charged for 2200 $ included skinning and quartering. He has lot of selection.

State of Wyoming allows bow hunting on their bison licenses, heck even those slow burning black powder rifles.
One well placed arrow will do one in, and yes I have seen it.

Some places in Colorado and Wyoming also have bison but they are selling fast.

$2200 would be an awesome price from all the hunts I've seen listed.

Try the Bison Ranch in North Dakota. Took my nephew to harvest one 18 years ago. Time sure has flown by he was only 10 years old and the youngest at that time to harvest one on the Krapp place.

Be careful of your dealings with the Bison Ranch, me and my wife had a bad experience there a few years back on her bison hunt. We would never go there again.
