Well thats a pretty good hint for those chickens that have hung back on their guesses.

Most folks come on here to learn(among other reasons) and lots of guys are ready to be the teachers. STx just happens to be the best "teacher" weve got, IMO.

This is great STX. I really wish more folks would post pics without antlers. Antlers give way too much sway to some deers ages.

My guesses were A young, B middle aged, C mature, D mature. The question i have is were these pics all taken at the same time of year and how close to rut were they taken?

Antelrs to each would go something like this:
A- 1
B- 3
C- 2 or 4
D- 2 or 4

I think both the mature deer have tiny little spike racks due to health. Both sets of spikes show lots of old age in the face, so they are the oldest.

The two other sets show some nice potential in the first, youngest deer. The other set shows a nice shield only a middle aged deer would have. Thus A-1 and B-3

All pics were taken this week over a 24 hr period. Rut starts here in mid to late November.
