I had not had tomato soup(Campbells) since I was a kid and living at home. My wife was eating some brand the other day and said how good it was, so I told he I would make her some home made tomato soup. After looking online at recipes and videos this was my choice. It turned out much better that the soup my mother bought in a can though. I added 3 de-seeded jalapenos that were not called for in the recipe though. They were just enough for a little back heat.

Yours looks wonderful. The wife loves making home-made tomato soup. I prefer mine in chili or marinara.

The 1 tsp. of oregano did give it a little spaghetti flavor.
