Having almost finished a bout with Covid, I can testify that this works. I'm 71, and apparently have gotten over it. Long read, but if it helps you or someone you know, it will have been worth your time.

"One observation stood out: The virus could potentially be blocked by melatonin."

I read that to my wife and she said, "What about Red Hots?"

Good night's sleep aids in overall health, that makes sense that it would help ward off the Corona. It's the bad living habits with the combination of Corona that seems to be killing people. When this crap started, my VA Doctors upped some of my vitamin pills consumption to get my immune system kicked up.

Good to know. I'm 75 and have been taking melatonin for years. Hats off to good sleep!

Get my Melatonin at Thanksgiving.

"With Thanksgiving coming up, you may have heard about the effects of turkey on the brain. The theory goes that turkey contains high levels of tryptophan, which is a key ingredient of serotonin and melatonin; the tryptophan in the turkey boosts serotonin to make you happy, and melatonin to make you feel sleepy."

Good to know about the Melatonin, I have been taking it for about a year, but only 3 or 4 nights a week.

Melatonin doesn’t do much for me.

Having the most awful Tinnitus, I have been taking Melatonin every single night without fail for years. I hope the stuff really works for the virus. The articles don't mention dosage. I take 5mg., simply because I read that for sleep higher dosages don't help, and can also hinder the effects.
