We are all but done. I took a few with my bow, may help clean up some does on a buddies place, Middle son has shot a nice buck, Oldest boy has other things going on and the Wife is done as well.

anyone else pretty much hanging it up for the year? I do have one upland hunt scheduled for middle January but it will be spring before I pull out the bow again for big game

Done here, not by choice. Place I hunt is a one buck no doe county.

Got a buck down, possibly going to try for a doe in late season. One more month for waterfowl then it's time to hammer the coyotes and pigs!

Not over till the last day of the season....to many MLD tags on friends places left to fill. Still hunting Live Oak county and Goliad(1 spike tag left).

We killed some great deer but hunting is just now about to start hardcore. We have about 300 pigs that are about to get hammered

Shot one buck 2nd week of Texas season and 1 buck opening day of Oklahoma season

Kinda sucks when it’s over

I got two buck tags, another mule deer tag and Aoudad tag I have to feel in the next 60 days

You "feel" them and Ill "fill" them.

For Deer, yes. I live on the ranch so pigs and coyotes year round.

What about them thar hogs ?

This has been the best deer traffic season I think I've seen in the past 5 years. I still have nice deer coming in... Got my buck 15 minutes into opening morning, so very fortunate. Hogs have my undivided attention.

I've got 21 days off after Christmas. Plan on spending the good majority of it at the ranch. I've shot two does this season but will probably shoot another 3, try to get my daughter a doe and my wife needs to shoot a few as well. Axis aren't looking promising this winter but might try to get my wife on one. Coyotes are trying making a comeback so that will be my main objective.

Heck no. The best trapping time isn’t even here yet.

Deer till the end. Ducks till the end. Pheasant and Chukar in KS in Feb.

Then trout, bass and golf.
