Paslie Werth, a 14-year-old Kansas girl, got off the shot of a lifetime when she struck a world record-setting 42-point buck. Paslie took down the buck just one day after Kansas opened its 2020 hunting season in September. On Tuesday, Fox News reported that she didn't just take the state record, but the world record to boot. World record buck

I grew up in Kansas. Left in 1968, they didn't even have enough deer for a season back then. Awesome for that young lady.

World Record Non Typical for a female. Incredible buck no doubt. Some can get kinda ugly but that ones nice.

Congrats to her, but I hate when they pull the whole 'WORLD RECORD' and then have to put 'when standing on one leg in a corn field while the sky is blue and the temp is 53 degrees'. How about just saying it's a great buck and largest ever taken by a woman?

Since when did they begin keeping records based on the sex of the hunter? That is a really good deer and I congratulate her on taking it and will readily admit it is bigger than any deer I have ever taken, but there is only one world record. This "woke" crap is getting out of hand.

This "woke" crap is getting out of hand. That's kinda what I was thinking. Nothing at all about that buck that needs any kind of grade curve.

There’s not a World Record for a male is there? Certainly don’t mean to take anything away from the girl or the deer but why do they have to quantify. Any record keeping on game animals is about the animal and not the hunter, to me.

Beautiful buck. Beautiful girl. 'Wish jealous jerks wouldn't find something to criticize. (Besides the news headline posting a picture of a red stag.) Thanks for posting big bob. A friend from on here texted a link earlier, but I couldn't see the actual horns without watching 30 minutes of Fox News.

I grew up in Kansas. Left in 1968, they didn't even have enough deer for a season back then. Awesome for that young lady. Same year I left Kansas. As kids we NEVER saw a deer and it was a rarity to even find a track (South Eastern Corner, Independence, KS).

Congrats to her, but I wish a youngster like her never killed something that big... one, it's hard to convince me that she can truly appreciate a deer that big without paying lots of dues by sitting on stand for what amounts to seasons of time before even seeing one that big; and two, she's ruined as she'll likely never see another buck that big in her life and will possibly lose interest in hunting. Again, congratulations to the young lady.

Again, congratulations to the young lady. I think she's killed big bucks before. But I'm glad it not her first buck ever. The record-setting buck was the fourth buck she has taken down in her years of hunting.
“My next biggest was a 12-point whitetail that scored 178," Paslie said. "I'd like to thank my parents and grandparents for helping me have this experience. I'd like to encourage other kids to get in the outdoors." https://www.theblaze.com/news/teen-girl-shoots-record-buck
