They are the best, they kill ducks deader than steel all day long. 2-3/4" #5s as ramsey Russell says. Your not a real duck hunter unless you shoot them
In all honesty I've never shot them, I'm sure they are a good shell. But I've never had a problem killing them with steel for half the cost.

But I've never had a problem killing them with steel for half the cost. +1 I literally lost zero injured ducks last season, mostly thanks to clean shots < 40 yards and a good dog, so I have no need. Cue that one guy that apparently has stock in Boss. EDIT: I could see them coming in handy if you need so shoot a smaller gauge (shoulder issue, etc.)

So, I just ordered my second round. I only ordered 2 boxes of 2 3/4 #5's before season to try them out. Ordered my wife the same in 20 gauge. So far Ive been really impressed. I just ordered 4 more boxes. 2 more 2 3/4 and 2 boxes of 3" #5's to try out. We've only been shooting mainly teal and a few woodys and did have one good day of Gadwalls, but Ive noticed a way better kill ratio and less cripples. Im only 4 shells into my second box and have already killed about 16 birds myself. With only 20 in a box, Ill take that all day long. Jury is still out. But so far I really like them.

They work for me. It's nice not worrying about the shell being a factor in a kill. Clean kill or clean miss.

Btw, that last video was 49 yards with #5 and a 20 gauge. Smaller shot equals a denser pattern, equals better killing power.

Better than steel, but not the end all be all. Good price point for what you're buying.

If I wore that much Sitka gear I would probably feel inclined to shoot something besides steel shot as well, but I've never had an issue killing teal...

Good shell Hope they hold the prices and not get greedy like the big companies. You have to love the guys who post they kill ducks fine with steel and never lose any comical and tells you everything you need to know.

You have to love the guys who post they kill ducks fine with steel and never lose any comical and tells you everything you need to know. That sword cuts both ways... I think it is more of a commentary on hunting style: Do you put out a good set, work the birds and shoot them feet down in your face? (If this guy can shoot, it will take him 6-8 shells to fill a six bird limit with cheap [censored] steel) Do you throw out the dekes and pass shoot? (These are the guys that benefit from paying for premium shells. These are also the guys that glaze over when the old salts discuss the nuances of decoying). It is a great sport but we don’t all go at it the same way. If your dog is good enough you won’t lose birds with either hunting style.

You might be getting a 10% increase in pattern and penatration when using bismuth. If that 10% is worth it to you then great. But your kidding your self if you think boss/bismuth is the end all be all. One thing I've noticed from the guys that shoot boss and wear sitka is they think its the best and everything else is crap. I believe yall have to convince yourselves of this to justify the cost and its social posturing for your own egos.

No not the end all but iv loaded bismuth and seen first hand what it can do vs good steel shot no comparison. Not a money guy but also not goin to sit here and say you can kill 6 mallards on 8 shots w steel. And I wear cabelas and Walmart camo To each there own

I am saying you can kill six geese with six shots with steel if you have patterned your shotgun and can shoot. Killing ducks at 40-45 yards with steel is not the difficult part. Squaring up on the front half of them consistently is where the separation among wing shooting lies. If you don’t have the restraint or judgement to let birds beyond 45 yards fly is where the benefits of premium shot is realized.
