Just dropped off my first whitetail kill in 6 years and he was a stud. Can anyone tell me a website to post pics for a guesstimate score? Taxi wouldn’t even guess let alone measure. I am guessing high 170’s to 180’s

Go to Boone and Crockett website and it will show which measurements to take - basically it is:
1. each beam length (measure on the outside of the beam from base to tip), 2. each tine and brow tine length (also on the outside of the tine), 3. first four mass measurements on each side (the smallest diameter) , 4. and the inside spread at the widest point.
Will not be exact or official but will give you a good idea

Should have had taxi cut antlers off for you and then take it to an official scorer after drying period exception for big game awards there is no drying period needed

Do they have scorers that will come to your house and score and explain how they got the measurements?
It just depends on the individual. Normally I would think that most are too busy but some will. Its just a volunteer position(TBGA) so they can do or not do what they want. Some taxidermists will be official scorers and they would likely spend more time with you in an attempt to get/keep your business. Also, I assume there are videos out there for just about anything.

I NEVER leave my horns with a taxidermist. Way too many folks never see their deer again. Taxi goes out of business and disappears you may never see your deer again
