I’m debating between the Foxpro x24 and shockwave. Anyone have any experience with either of these or another recommendation? I’m currently using the Foxpro wildfire and the remote is tough to read at times and the volume isn’t quite loud enough at times.

Check out the ICOtec Outlaw call. I recently purchased one and love it 10x more than the Foxpros. I've had bad luck with Foxpro over the years from a quality and CS standpoint. Maybe it's just bad luck...

I’ve got the Shockwave as well but I’ve never used it so I really don’t have real world experience. In my research that’s what I found to be the best bang for my buck but it’s like Ford verses Chevy, their really isn’t a true winner in all categories imo.

Maybe it's just bad luck... That’s the first time I have ever heard anyone complain about Foxpro’s CS. I have had a one go out in the middle of the hunt and they overnight me one to use while they repaired mine. Last week I bought the large speakers for our Truck Pro and two were too big to fit in the space we had. One phone call they measured the smaller ones and said they would fit and shipped them with a return label. We returned the bigger speakers and yesterday my CC showed a credit for price difference. They IMO have great CS and not sure what happened in the above posters experience but I have owned almost every model they have made and have used other brands as well but Foxpro is the most popular for a reason.

It should be out any day now. You need to call Burnham Brothers and get on their list.

I'm kind of leaning towards the shockwave but still up in the air between that and the x24. Definitely going with a foxpro. Anyone own or used the x24?

No experience with the x24, but love my shockwave. I think anything from Foxpro with the TX1000 remote is going to work good. I like that I can adjust the aim of the speakers with the shockwave and the other sound features once you play with it and figure them out. The only thing I wish foxpro would change/update is the way sound files and folders are uploaded to the calls. I feel like with computers now, there could be a faster way to organize the sounds. But once its done once, it's easy to go back and add or edit the folders. Side note, I have around 750 sound files I had to organize, if you are only using the factory 100 sounds that come with them, it wouldnt be that hard or time consuming. Good luck.

Ended up getting the Foxpro x24. Going out to try it out this weekend at the lease. Really like the remote compared to my old one.

i bought a Pyle 800 watt portable bluetooth speaker that is a beast for $75. I use my phone for the sounds I downloaded from ITunes. Only down side is if your wife calls. I might add both my Inferno's have bad speakers. I can get them to work by plugging them into the Pyle.

I have placed a PO for 3,000 units and am very happy with the latest prototype, just making a few minor adjustments. This caller is a game changer as it is the only e-caller that is capable of producing the full spectrum of sound. We are so confident that it will out perform any other product that we will offer a 30 day guarantee. Problem is, we currently have close to 5,000 folks wanting callers so we will not be able to satisfy everyone in the first run. Thanks so much for your patience. Adios, Gary

Right, you don’t want to call in any of those Auto Warranty varmints. You might run out of ammo.
