How will a broke state like California afford to upgrade the electrical utility grid to handle its all electric goals.

Oh yea......the federal government(ie-you) will pay for it.

They are already screwed in the loss of gas tax revenue. Won't be long when registration of an electric car will be $2000 per year

Most people will have to add an additional 75 amp service to their house to charge the Damm thing. They forgot to tell you about this. frown

2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E First Drive Review: Detroit Strikes Back

Looks more like an Acura/Lexus mini-SUV to me.

75 amp for what? A welder, stove, water heater, etc. dont draw that much.

On a side note, im not a proponent of electric cars at all, but the torque/power is neat.

Porsche has a nice electric car now, but it cost as much as a house. I want to check out the Tesla cyber truck, but I don't know if it's in production yet.

Does it come with a windmill or solar panels?

I think solar panels will be optional on the Tesla.

So, will emergency vehicles be electric as well? Boat motors? Construction vehicles? Farm equipment? I just see electric cars being a fad and not the norm or at least I hope so.

I really do like to hear a sound when I turn a key.

And I like hearing a well tuned vehicle with dual exhaust.
