Another Corporate relocation to Texas. Welcome. Oracle moves its HQ from California to Texas It’s the latest Silicon Valley firm to depart for the Lone Star StateSoftware giant Oracle moved the company headquarters from Redwood City, California to Austin, Texas, Bloomberg reported, the latest tech firm to depart Silicon Valley for the Lone Star State.
Oracle did not immediately reply to a request for comment Sunday, but told CNBC that it was putting into place “a more flexible employee work location policy,” and that the move to Austin would “best position Oracle for growth and provide our personnel with more flexibility about where and how they work.” https://www.theverge.com/2020/12/13...s-california-texas-hewlett-packard-tesla

So, with all these companies moving to Austin - will they demand that something be done about all the aggressive homeless? Or will just more free programs be set up to allow them to continue in the lifestyle to which they're accustomed, in other words, further their takeover of the streets?
...and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. Gen. 1:28

Look at any large west coast city for your answer. Soon there will be used syringes and human feces everywhere

Texas has been doing just fine without these douchebags coming here, the moron that thought bringing all these goons here should be beat with a stiff rubber hose. I wonder how they will act and vote? They completely destroyed the state they were in and I all but guarantee you they will do the same here, we’ve invited the devils to live amongst us. I’m sure their are some great folks coming with them but on election night we were dang closer to a blue state than I ever thought possible and a big part of it has been the influx of outsiders moving here. At least Oklahoma’s only a 20 mile move for us when the state completely goes to hell in about 10-15 years.

The owner is moving to Hawaii. If I had Larry Ellison's money I'd probably live there too. Larry owns the entire island of Lanai. So... I'd live there as well. In reality it's all just a "virtual" move. Oracle is simply changing their legal address for headquarters to the Austin offices. Presto chango no more California taxes. The exec's in California can move to Austin if they want, but it's on their own dime. They are not closing the California offices and forcing people to transfer locations. Now that Elon and Larry have done this, I bet you see an exodus from Silicon Valley. And California will have killed that golden goose.

Oracle already has a big office building here at 410 and San Pedro in San Antonio. They’ve been in in Texas for years now
