I’ve been using Remington heavy dove 7.5 the last few years with great success. Can’t find them due to bankruptcy. What’s another alternative? Does it matter? Academy has Winchester and monarch pretty plentiful. Anyone using monarch?

Never had a problem with the Winchester or federal 4 packs for $20. Kill them just as dead as any other load I’ve used

I prefer monarch high brass, low brass I’m not big on.

Shoot whatever’s cheapest for dove. Now a days shoot whatever you can find. They’re not that hard to kill.

If your local Walmart carries AAs use those. Only $1 more a box compared to heavy dove and much better

I've used Estate target loads, Winchester Super X, Monarch heavy dove.
They all get the job done. Oh, and if you want real knock down power, 00 Buck works okay. lizard

AA’s have always been good. This year I used the Rio high brass and it knocked’em dead as well.

I prefer Rio High Brass but damn near anything shot size 7-8 works.

I prefer Winchester AA's in 8 shot if available...extra hard shot stays round and keeps pattern's evenly distributed with fewer fliers. This translates to a lower bird-to-shell ratio...as long as you do your part.

If they are flying high, I like a .22 long rifle bullet.

AAs are worth a try, and work well. I agree the Remington's were great stuff.

I have used AA's in Handicap I liked years ago. Then switched to Remington heavy dove 7.5. Now that they are hard to find I have fell in love with Rio 1/8th 7.5's in HDCP. Really a nice clean shell. If HDCP isn't available I get 3 Dram.

RIO Texas Heavys. IF you can find them, they are sweet shooting shells for dove.
