High humidity Friday and Saturday morning, should be good scenting conditions.

I don't remember when I last emptied my rain gauge but I just checked and found four inches.

The 7800 acre pasture we hunted needs a serious burn to come thru....Very heavy grass in many areas but did 15 to 22 covies a day..at times we would move thru 15 min of thick cover to get in huntable areas.... We took a break sat afternoon for a water hole dove hunt that was exceptional...Mornings were good with dry conditions, except for Sunday, there was a heavy fog...that was the best hunt...10 covies by 10 am...We just did short runs in the afternoon as most of the clouds moved out....Id say it was about the same as last years hunt...But much better weather this year... One thing about that area.. Forecasts are crap...winds constantly switch as does cloud cover....
Record sticker crop this year as well!!!!!!

That area seems to be productive year in and year out.

Your timing was right. The forecast for this week is what we all call beautiful weather, with highs over 70°. It will be higher in South Texas.
