found one at a price I was willing to pay finally.. Now I need the right ammo. In my readings I saw one article that said 150 grain shoots best in it's short barrel. Any feed back on this or can I get away with some 115 grain?

Mine shoots anything I put in it. These days, buy what you find, then go from there.

Oh, and trust me on this...buy you some Taran Tactical +3 extensions. My carry mag fits flush and I pocket carry. But my backup mags have the Taran +3 extensions.

Like Earl, I agree, they'll eat about anything. I haven't seen 150? Usually I find 115, 124, 135, 147, and my carry guns at work and off almost always are loaded with the 115.

With my G43 if it will fit in the magazine, it will feed. Mine is loaded with the same ammo I feed my G17, 124 +P Gold Dots.

I have ran everything from 95 grain to 150 grain and it feeds and locks back on the last shot. The G43 is a keeper.

Just my .02,
LeonCarr

Thanks for the replies. I've gotten lucky and have a box of each and will be going with the 150 grain and keep the other as backup. Never in my life did I think it was going to be this hard to find ammo for anything.

Make sure the gun is dirty because the dirtier they are the better they shoot!

Once i learned that i didn't "NEED" to kill something, and that if i did kill something all the fun stopped and work began, i was a much better hunter.
