$2.65 for Marlboro reds which was 25 years ago or so. No clue what the cost is now.

I was gonna quit Copenhagen when it got to a dollar a can.

Marlboro light 100s, $16.00 per carton at Sam's. I kept a carton at home, a carton in my truck, and 5 or 6 cartons in my desk at work. I smoked 3 packs per day. I stopped June 11, 1990.
After I stopped about 3 months later I bought me a new John Deere tractor 2155, 50 hp. I kept up with how much I was spending on cigs until my tractor was paid off from not smoking cigs. I really did not need tractor but I needed a goal. I still have tractor and it has about 650 hrs. on it now.
No it is not for sale, If I sold it, I mite start again.
I was hypnotized. I don't know if it worked, it has only been 30 years.

As best as I can recall they were about $1.50 when I quit in December 1990.

Marlboro reds in the carton were about $5 at the commissary best as I recall....1987 when I was in Germany.

I remember in high school smokes were .35 cents and Skoal/Happy days were 26 cents. Glad I quit when I did.

Back in the late 60's and early 70's my mom used to go to I think she called it the PX/Commissary? in Grand Prairie to buy Cigs and alcohol, think she paid $3.00 a carton?

6 or almost 6 took me a few different quitting times but I think I got it now been at least three years

Started smoking when I was 13 or 14 and quit on my 16th birthday. Both of my parents smoked, mom cigarettes, dad cigars and when we turned 16 we were allowed to smoke even in the house.

Years ago was like 4-5$ a pack when I quit. Was at neighbors a couple weeks ago and I bummed a cig off him and smoked it while having a drink. Went home and lady friend smelled it on me and went ballistic. Threatened to cut me off the treats....oh man that was almost a costly cig
