That's ok everyone has an opinion. I liked him and I shot him. I shoot 1 deer a year and this was him this year. I pass on a lot of deer.

We've had a couple nice bucks shot this season. I shot a freak on the 21st and the was the last thing shot. My wife's hoping to drop the hammer on her buck this weekend. Nice

Guys, saw 4 bucks yesterday and a few doe, every buck was checking the does, especially those younger does. Think the secondary rut is nearly upon us which is a good thing.

Wouldn't mind seeing this mature, high basket buck in the daylight hours...For my 70 acres, he'd be a nice one to take..

I was hoping to be well enough to hunt by now, but not gonna happen, maybe another couple weeks. My neighbors and I had some nice bucks going into bow season on camera. Each of them hasn't seen a shooter yet. I pulled my camera cards earlier this week and only saw lots if does some young 4 and 6pts. I know the big boys have got to be around somewhere.
Some nice bucks taken so far on here!
Distance is not an issue, but the wind can make it interesting!

Shot mine after thanksgiving. 17 3/4 wide. Seems they were still chasing does that hadn’t been breed but also more bucks in feeder trying to find food.

Be watcful out there...my landowners Uncle runs cattle on my lease in Young County off Hwy 16. I've been hunting there for 13 years. This is the first time we've had this problem. I hope the POS that did this rots in hell. The blue mark was I think the Uncle trying to highlight the entry wound. He was shot by someone driving by on HWY 16. I just hope this wasn't my 12 pointer I had on camera. The deer was found Wednesday morning. Until this happened I wasn't aware that Brent Isom had retired - he was a hell of a game warden. I'll give the new guy the benefit of the doubt but I wish he would have returned my call.

That’s disgusting and don’t let the new GW off the hook. Keep calling The LO's Uncle did speak with him Wednesday morning so hopefully he got all he needed and of course he'll have access to where the deer is (if it's where i think it is you can see it driving down Hwy 16). $*$@@&@*!(#$*$$ Still in my voice mail to the GW I offered to send photos of the 12 pointer I had on camera so he could identify the head if it were to show up somewhere. I wouldn't be surprised if he monitors this thread so just in case: Hopefully it's not the same buck. I just noticed it looks like the 12 pointer has a distinctive mark on his right rear leg. The photo doesn't show that area. I won't be out there again until this coming Friday. Hopefully the coyotes will have left the leg alone for me to see if it has that mark. You know I can never condone it but I can at least understand someone that poaches to feed their family. But this? Oh it gets my blood boiling. No game animal deserves an ending like this.

Earl, We are north of Loving and have noticed 3-5 dead hogs shot dead the middle of our field as well as the neighboring field. All within the last month. Thinking someone is seeing them from the highway, pulling over and shooting. Hogs are hogs but poaching someone’s land is flat wrong.

Amen...they probably started with the hogs then escalated. Hopefully the GW setup a sting and catches the bastages...hell he can use my lease I'd be happy if he did. I'm north of Loving too - that may be one of my fields you are seeing the dead hogs in...$&#&#*@*@!!$%#Q Earl, We are north of Loving and have noticed 3-5 dead hogs shot dead the middle of our field as well as the neighboring field. . Still got allot to learn didn’t know there was a secondary rut. Heck this is my first year having to let bucks pass, made a huge mistake in taking a young buck last year.
