I bought one at Costco (can't remember the brand) but I have used it 4 or 5 times without charging it. I think it was around $60 or $70. It seems pretty effective and holds a charge for a while

Amazon about $80. holds charge for a long time. Has 4 small lights that when on indicate fully charged. Was able to start a vehicle with only 2 lights showing.

Noco is just about the best out there.

I got a Stanley at Walmart for around $40 and it works great. Keep it in the UTV just in case.

I've had 3 different size Nocos and like them alot. I used one last month to start a John Deere combine with a dead battery.

I picked up a 5-in-1 before our DIY CO elk hunt back in Oct. Harbor Freight, about $100 if memory serves me. Jump pack, air compressor, work lights and USB outlets along with a 120vac inverter. I've used the air compressor a few times, charged phones & power brick, haven't needed to jump anything. Sure is handy

I keep a small NOCO in each of my Mules and a big one in my vehicles. Cheap insurance.

anyone have any idea how often they need to be recharged? I thought about getting one for my daughter, but if you have to take it out and charge it every month, the thing would end up being about a useful as a 5 pound brick in the back of her trunk.

Thanks,
Rich

My NOCO stays charged for months. I can jump my jeep with it a dozen time before it needs to be re-charged.

Sounds as if she needs a new battery or alternator.

Doesn’t weigh 5 pounds, bought them in 2014, have to charge about once a year.

What brand is it? I just ordered a NOCO 1000 amp from Walmart for my mule.
