 Settings does not include email notifications for replies to a thread

In order to be notified of a new reply on a thread to which I have posted
I must remember to open thread options and choose follow the thread.
Most forums have an option in settings to subscribe automatically.
One feature on this forum that I do like is that when you do follow a thread
the email notifications include what has been posted and saves you a trip.
