Looking for a new lease for 21 and beyond. Big or small. Open to filing a spot, or all alone. Hopefully located within 2 hours of corpus christi. Wanting a place that will allow family to spend the weekends there as well. None of them hunt yet, but want them away from all the electronics.
A little about me...
Been hunting since I was 10. I'm very selective when hunting. It's been probably about 10 years since I've filled all my tags. Hell half the time I don't even go out to the blind, just like to hang out and plan the next improvement. I'm a pretty decent carpenter and electrician. Just finished building a she shed for the wife that is 100% solar powered.
No need for water or electric, but it's always a plus.

Welcome to our forum. Ive always said the perfect lease would have a carpenter, electrician, plumber, mechanic, farmer, doctor, and many would disagree but a lawyer. I cant help you since my place is north not south. Good luck.

Add in someone with a nice discount to a hardware or feed store and it would be heaven!

Yes, the list could go on, but you got the idea. My lease is good enough that if I ever have a spot open I can usually pick and chose the best candidate and it will sometimes come down to what they can contribute to the lease instead of flipping a coin over who to pick.

Welcome to THF! I've got a place in South Texas that can always use good tradesmen who contribute but we are more than 2 hours from Corpus (close to Eagle Pass). I may have a spot open up for 2021 and will know more at the end of January and can follow up if the drive doesn't bother you. If interested, PM me with your price range. I'm sure you know South Texas is expensive to hunt so I always discuss price up front so no one is wasting the other's time.

Bumping this...its been a few months and while I have had some good leads, nothing panned out quite right.

@AggieIvy-- anything available on your lease near Eagle Pass ? I am interested in the one spot open. I am a soon to be retired teacher/ coach just looking for a place to hunt. Been at it for 50 years. but I don't try to push it on others. Just trying to enjoy life now that I have more time to do the things that I love to do. Thx. Coach Joe Zertuche text message is fine 210-289-1515
