New to the forums here. Did a search but nothing came up. Has anyone ever hunted on Camp Swift near Bastrop? I was selected and my dates are coming up soon. Just wondering if anyone had any advice for the area. Thanks

Camp Swift or Bastrop State Park?

Camp swift is not part of the draw, you have to be military/national guard/dependent to hunt Camp Swift.

I was in Bastrop yesterday, saw Camp Swift, agree its an active military base.

There used to be a shooting place there called Tiger Valley, think its gone though.

Lots of grass fires too
