I used one of these for the first time last week on a deer at 204 yards. This tripod was rock solid, I was highly impressed. They are a bit heavy for caring around on a spot and stalk hunt, but for a pop-up (which is what I was in) or a set up location it worked very well.

I messed with one at a store, it didn’t seem to have a tilt function, is that really the case or did I miss something?

I figured so. Seemed like a solid option for an affordable tripod. I run a Reaper Grip on a larg CF tripod and also a Primos Trigger Stick tripod.

I tried a Pig Saddle on a Primos Trigger Stick Tripod and it wasn't steady enough for me.

I'm gonna sidetrack for a moment.
I'd like to know what you shot from this setup, deer /pigs?

Yup, great for what they are, but won’t hold up to the weight with any kind of saddle
