Anybody on here really like their cheese fried or grilled? Is it just an extra you don't really think too much about?
Gonna throw some great filets on the barbie this week for the MIL, and thinking I will do some grilled cheese too. I have both Halloumi and Juustolepia, and think they're great. Kinda like a grilled cheese sandwich without the bread.
I know some of you like to smoke your cheeses, but these would be quick and toasted..

Both cheeses have really high melting points. The nice thing is they take a char, and brown really well, in either a pan or on your grill without making a mess. Juustoleipia is called bread cheese, in the store. Think finger-food.

When I was in Germany there was a little pub that served fried breaded Camembert cheese....golden brown on the outside, warm and gooey on the inside, served with cranberry jam and toasted bread. It was simply amazing.....especially with a nice dark draft beer.... Couldn't find the exact picture of how it was served but this is the cheese.... With this bread....

I've fried Feta to go with lamb and it was really good.
Slice Feta into 1" slices dip in egg wash coat in bread crumbs put in freezer for about 20 mins pan fry in oil @ 325 till golden
Serve with fresh tzatziki

It’s very good! I had never heard of bread cheese until that day.
