I had such high hopes for my "home made pizza". I made the dough from scratch and everything. I want to make it perfectly clear that this was my first attempt (and maybe my last), but I was a little disappointed. I was unable to get the pizza off of the pizza peel and onto my pizza stone that was preheated and in the oven. Everything was going great ..... until it wasn`t (as I always say). So, me being the fast thinker that I am, I decided to make a Stromboli instead of pizza. To be honest, I could have made this a Stromboli thread and no one would have known the truth about my mishap. Like the old saying says, "if your gonna make an Omelete , your gonna have to break a few eggs'. It actually turned out pretty good. I forgot to cut a few slits in the top of it for heat to escape and did not put egg wash on top of it for appearance, but other than that I made chicken salad out of chicken $[censored].

Put some flour of olive oil on parchment paper and roll it out on that. It should not stick doing either one. Your Stromboli looks good though.

I like yours, perfect for drinking heavily and eating!

It was pretty good, just to much bread. My calzones were much better tasting and beautiful, if I do say so.

Thanks for the advice.
I will probably go this route next time. I did not have any at the time so I went with the cornmeal on the bottom approach, which did not turn out well.
