I would never watch again, not even for them Me either. I actually quit watching the Cowboys in the 90`s and never watched a game they that they weren`t playing. Here`s the major reason I quit watching them. I never watched college football either. It`s just a rehearsal for the pros without the money. Lots of places to look for "Hero`s" other than a football field.

They lost me when Drew Brees was forced to apologize for eloquently stating how many of his family members are military, so he will not kneel out of respect for them. He got torched. F that, he can have an opinion! And a dam well founded one, too!

Haven't watched since Ray Lewis was named SB MVP the year following his indictment for double murder. He may not have done the killing, but he was certainly with those who did and only avoided trial by testifying against his posse and pleading guilty to obstruction for lying to the police. Decided then and there that I was done - almost 20 years and I haven't missed it a bit.

I miss the way it distracted some of the people around me. Now they call me on Sunday asking what I'm doing. I just say the same old thing, hunting and fishing.
Sometimes it's hard being me! But somebody has to do it.

I love football but I love my country more. I stopped watching the NFL this year, so sick and tired of the prima donnas. I enjoyed watching college ball until all the players started making demands about what coaches can wear fishing (Mike Gundy) and how the Longhorn band won't play the Alma Mater because they think it has racist roots. So this year I stopped watching college as well. To be honest, I haven't missed it at all and my wife has enjoyed the extra attention. The only ball I watch now is high school because these kids play for the love of the game and for each other. Football at it's purist form.
