The 89 yr old mom-in-law has been locked down in the senior living center, for the better part of 8 months with all the virus precautions, and now they have it there too. Getting pretty depressed, so we all decided to move her out and into our house. The wife and I spent all last night, and then all of today, moving furniture out of a main floor bedroom into the basement, cleaning everything top-to-bottom, and repainting it for her arrival. Just too busy to even think about dinner plans, until very late in the day. Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue - I guess!!

Our local grocery makes the best fresh tortillas in the world, everyday, and packages them up. That started our thought process. Left over asparagus/wild rice stuffed pork tenderloins, bacon strips, red beans and more rice, and a little fresh salad. Peppers, Magic Dust (courtesy of SnakeWrangler) again, and some blue cheese crema!! Belly busters.

I would eat until I fell over. Food looks fantastic.

I'd hit the brakes on the best tortillas ever though. ..

Those south I-10 guys are slightly particular and it means nothing. I have a michocana so I get to buy with the best we can get like you do. I am just glad you didnt use potato's to be honest here

We have had a great year and harvest for them. Best in my recollection, but the darn things are up to $10 a fifty pound box!! Hahaha.

And thats awful good on y'all to take the MIL in and take care of her. My 75ish next door neighbors just moved his MIL in with them, she is 96 and full of life.
Went over there last night for a few minutes and she was having a Rum and Coke enjoying her new digs.

One of the biggest problems in the world is we don't respect the elderly, and care for family anymore. Wasn't the way I was raised. Nowadays, seems the younger generations don't want to be "inconvenienced", just move them into a home and forget about them.

Good ole big bob is the one telling folks if they dont have "taco sauce" and on corn tortillas its not a taco lol pretty sure his azz is north of 10.
