Any one hunt Foard county?? I’ve heard of mule deer being killed there but haven’t seen any yet. Our place is north of Crowell and about 1.3 miles south of the Pease River.

I’d love to see pictures of any deer killed any the area or any other cool photos or history!

Thanks y’all cowboy

I know Foard county has a mule deer season, but I think it's mainly wishful thinking. A handful of Muley's are found west of there in Cottle county, but in the 5 years I hunted that area just west of you (and I was along the Pease as well) I saw 6 mule deer, and never a shooter buck.
A quick search of the Texas Big Game Awards site shows no one has ever entered a mule deer from Foard county. It has produced some nice white tail though. up

To be sure of hitting the target, shoot first and call whatever you hit the target.

I figured as much lol maybe I’ll get lucky one day and see a Muley buck. Hopefully have a good whitetail on the ground 2021!

We use to have them around Kirkland. I haven't seen any in years. Now west of Childress we would see them all the time by the lakes.

We've seen them in Northern Hardeman. Haven't harvested one yet.

I hunted western Foard county for five years. Had one trail cam picture of a mule deer doe in that time. No sightings other than that.

They've been few and far between when I've been out there
