Did I miss the big story ending? How was the COVID? Did you actually have it or was it a false positive? Did you die yet?

In all seriousness, how was it compared to the feared impact on your life. I know you being a little older, and not 100% on your health you was concerned.

Wife's aunt 58 - no symptoms
Wife's uncle 60 - bad allergies
Wife's mother 65 - 8 days, 5 days really bad
Wife's father 65 - 18 days, 16 of them worse than the flu
Wife 39 - 17 days, 15 of them worse than the flu
Me 39 - 4 days of 104 degrees, 90% oxygen level, resting heart rate of 150+.
My mom 65 - 20 days, 17 of them worse than the flu
My Dad 67 - No symptoms, just exhaustion

Resting heart rate of 150? 104 temp? Dude, I hope you went to the ER. That's brutal. If I'm reading your post right everyone is recovering or has recovered. Sorry to hear it affected so many of your family.

I forgot to list my brother and sister in law in Louisiana. They got it too. Both work in the ER, one as a doctor and the other as a pharmacist. My cousin is an ER doctor at Baylor.

I was in contact with them through it and they basically said the same thing. I didn't go but was on the verge of going...and I never go.

We have all recovered, mostly. There is still residual breathing issues. Lung capacity got down to around 35%. I don't live in a big house and a trip from the couch to the bathroom required a rest stop against the bed post. I am 2 months recovered and still around 75%.

I lost my oldest step-brother to COVID last week in Mississippi.
Had his service on Sunday.

YES, i had/have it. my girlfriend also got it. i picker her up from the hospital yesterday.

i guess you could call mine a "mild' case. I had a temperature for a few days 100.3*. When I was tested positive, the dr, gave me a Z-Pack and steroids. It worked fast getting rid of my fever and luckily the worst part is the loss of taste and smell which still aren't 100%. Yesterday was my 14th day of quarantine.

GF was worse she got bilateral pneumonia, thus 3 days in the hospital. She's feeling better now

We were both very lucky. We'll get tested again before Christmas, I don't want another "Thanksgiving" Also get tested for antibodies.

Vaccine?? HE77 YES

Thanks for asking WP75169..........I still have your Diet Coke and Coors light. I haven't been able to meet up with BIL yet but he's good as gold

Carter Blood Center told us that one unit of plasma from a recovered covid patient could help save as many as three people.

something to consider
