After 20 years of working as a Texas mule deer outfitter I'm officially retired from the business. My good friend and ranch owner doesn't need the hunting income anymore, so going forward the hunting is going to be family and friends only. I may still guide on occasion, but only if I want to, and only for inexperienced hunters that need a hand. What was very cool about the last "paid" buck taken was that it went to one of my favorite people, and one of the better guy's you'll find on this forum. up

2020 turned out to be a decent hunting year overall.. here are a couple pics of the bucks taken right before Ramsey's. We definitely went out on a high note.

I made a video from the photo file I stuck all my pic's in over the years in case you want to see what 20 years of outfitting looked like on our ranch. Sort of funny that YouTube chose my one whitetail pic for the video cover roflmao There where some really outstanding bucks taken over the years, and many smiling faces from this forum popped up. The end of an era for sure, but looking forward to the next one as well. smile

You are going about this all wrong, you send Ramsey 10 clients and tell him to book you a hunt.

ABC

He is sending me on mountain goat hunt, but I’m kind of a big deal whistle or not roflmao

Congrats again Ramsey!!! That’s the only way you are excused from Thanksgiving FYI, now you are out of excuses

Kershen congrats on getting back to the funner side of it.

20 years is a good run sir, especially when you have to take ruffians like the guy in the 1st photo grin
