Home from helping the kids re-model in Colorado. I mentioned to the wife just how good my DIL's food was while I was there: didn't know that would kick off a competition! For dinner tonight, she whipped up a great meatloaf, and also some fluffy white rice. She found a mixed package of some nice baby Crimini, shiitake, and oyster mushrooms to make into gravy. Tired of plain old lettuce and tomato, so for garden variety we had carrots and celery, with some hummus. Some peppers for balance. He who shall remain un-named (thanks SW) sent me some Magic Dust, so just had to try that on everything. WOW, is that good!!! Hadn't had a good Captain Morgan and Coke in a while, so topped everything off with a tall one. ![[Linked Image]](https://texashuntingforum.com/forum/pics/userpics/2020/12/full-22567-267554-a2b7d766_dbcb_4ce0_a2a4_323f61747428.jpeg) ![[Linked Image]](https://texashuntingforum.com/forum/pics/userpics/2020/12/full-22567-267555-ec3b1dbc_cd9c_46c5_ae2e_fb4942378965.jpeg)

Are those "vegetables" my momma told me about when I was a kid?
I've never been a fan of having something on fire in my pocket.

I call them salad, when I eat them cold (have to have dip or hummus with them tho). Some people do peanut butter and celery, but that seems like a waste of PB...... They are actually pretty good as vegetables too, if you sauté them with lots of onions and peppers, before making something good!!!

Gossip dies when it hits a wise person’s ears. Rumor and lies are created by haters, spread by fools, and unfortunately believed by the naïve!

Add Green Chilis to your next meatloaf. It will change a man...
