Trying to decide if I want to drive to Dallas to visit the gun show at Market Hall tomorrow. Has anyone been today?
Do they even have half of the big hall occupied with tables?

We went to Market Hall for the last one. Got there about noon on Sunday and the wait to get in was only about 15 minutes. Lots of tables.

I have not even tried to get in a gun show in many years. They were fun 20-30 years ago. When I worked in Corpus Christi in the 80's. The Corpus gun show sold beer, cheap beer. I had buddies that would show up and drink beer all morning and then around noon eat a BBQ sandwich and go home and hardly walk around and look at guns.
Back then gun shows were a good place to buy things in bulk, bullets, brass. I went to one at the George R. Brown in Houston and bought a sack full of 130gr. Winchester Silvertips. I bet I still have some unless I gave them away. I bet you can get primers at a gun show...................for about 40 bucks a 100!!!
Thanks, Billy

I'm not a big gun show person, but I do have a funny story. Many years ago at Market Hall a buddy of mine and I were walking around looking and we see a guy with the sign on a backpack indicating had a pistol for sale. A young man of... let's say "questionable character", walked up to and inquired about the gun and paid cash on the spot. My buddy turned to me and said, " I bet he makes that back by tonight"!
