We have a small guest house (very small), with a pretty big screened porch in the front of it. The original screens were secured to the wooden frames of the porch and then treated wood strips were installed to hide the nails and staples. After about 10 or 12 years, it’s time for some screen replacement. I’d like to use those aluminum frames where the screen is held in by round rubber strips.

What I don’t know is where I can get those custom screens with the aluminum framework. Who does that?

Could also use some handyman work replacing some wood along the roof line. If you know somebody, tell them about me. I want a good job by a reliable person at a reasonable price, and I’m not wanting to go bare budget cheap. I will pay a negotiated fair price. I can’t find anybody around Groesbeck that does this sort of stuff.

I would contact my local lumberyard. The main lumberyard we use knows me and I have always gotten good referrals from them.

I have some never used screens that are free to a good home.. All you have to do is push them into the grove in the top finish with the heel of your hand at the bottom. You can get them at Lowe's for around $50 each.
