Crudely written recap of what I went through. Followed guidelines, healthy 68 year old with no underlying conditions. Hope it inspires someone.
"18 days ago I got sick with what I thought was a cold. A week later I was worse off and a few days after that I tested positive for flu and Covid,we now know I had been positive for a while by then. That was 8 days ago. I tumbled straight off the cliff into delirious long nights of endless hallucinations where my brain went through sequences of numbers, and built towers, and all kinds of busy meaningless nonsense. It was sheer insanity, and exhausting. All of it while every cell of your body is crying out in pain. I can also remember a few times when I was actively trying to figure out if any of this was real. I could not tell if I was awake or asleep. Kind of out of body like,This went on for days. I was at deaths door and powerless against it.This thing tried to kill me. It shook me like a rag doll and spit me up into the bed and watched me to see if I was still moving. But, I was aware there was an angel, my wife, caring for me around the clock with no regard for her own safety. She got all the right drugs, treatments, kept me hydrated, Arlaine is the finest gift I have ever been given and deserves all good things. So fast forward to morning before last, I was in bed and for the first time, even through the pain and exhaustion I could sense that there was a spark there that felt like there was still something of normal in me,that there was a chance. I started thinking about all my prayers I had prayed and all of a sudden the Spirit of God-The Father, was there. Very commanding, unemotional, and He came to me to tell me this "The only reason you are alive is because of answered prayers" I was still, speechless, that He had come to me to deliver this message. "The only reason" All of you that prayed for me He not only heard them He acted on them, I got a picture of it like this. "Let us therefore come boldly to the throne room of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need"Hebrews 4:16 Each one of you one by one approaching and making your request known. Bless you all from the bottom of my heart..,I was so blown away after He spoke I was just waiting and He spoke once more and simply said, "You have been given another season" Yall, this was too profound for words really, the feeling of being in His all powerful presence, with these messages, indescribable. But you are ALL part of it so I thought I would let you know. BTW, I'm slowly improving, probably take the rest of the year , maybe longer to get back. It aged me, weakened me, I've lost lots of weight, hair gone totally gray, but oh the gift I have received."

Yes!

If you find yourself feeling useless, remember it took 20 years, trillions of dollars, and four presidents to replace the Taliban with the Taliban.

Sometimes the Universe puts you in the same situation again to see if you’re still a dumbass.

My best friend and fellow THF member "Bass MAster" (he hasnt posted in a long time) has been dealing with covid for the last few weeks. His whole family got it at the same time from the grandmother to the grandbaby. Everyone recovered quickly except my buddy and his wife who got hit hard and was down for over two weeks. He said he just wanted to sleep the whole time and felt like death. He ended up in the ER at the week and a half mark due to low blood oxygen. Him and his wife are finally over the hump but still both have lingering chest issues and still feel run down.

As a lifelong Catholic, I can still offer an old-West blessing from the Indian ways of yesteryear. "God" and "The Great Spirit" can be one in the same.

Apache Prayer and Chant of Good Health—Wahi’ Natives

Hoh wa pet ‘u chi
Hoh wa pet ‘u chi, téh hoh’

Hoh wa pet ‘u chi
Good health my friend
Hoh wa pet ‘u chi, téh hoh’
Good health my friend, my brother

Hoh wa pet ‘u chi
Good health my friend
Hoh wa pet ‘u chi, téh hoh’ téh
Good health my friend, my brother/sister/father/mother/husband/wife/child

Hoh wa pet ‘u chi
Hoh wa pet ‘u chi, téh hoh’
Hoh wa pet ‘u chi, téh hoh’ téh

Blessings to all of us! IN65/joe

Yes it has. We stayed really low for a long time but there has been a recent explosion in cases.
