I had a roast and cooked it in the slow cooker but it seemed tough and blah. Was wondering 8f brining might make a difference or maybe another suggestion.

Never have, but with roast from an older buck it couldn’t hurt. They are gonna be tougher period.

Brining will help with keeping it moist while cooking. Best thing for a roast is the crockpot, add some water and bbq sauce

My Mother always soaked our venison in salt water. Not sure if that would be called brining or not.

some people like silver and gold
I like brass and lead with a little powder in between
