Was having some coffee when the big tomcat went on full alert - looking out the back window. It was our fox family in the yard, on an outing. They got to running around and chasing each other, when one of them shot straight up a tree. I had never seen one actually climb a tree. It looked effortless.
Not my monkeys, not my circus...

Neat little things. We finally have one showing up in our yard. Hope it hangs around.

They are cool critters, had 3 kits and mom behind the house last year, got lots of trail cam pics and saw them a few times.

We have a couple around here but haven't seen them in a month or so. Neat animals if you don't raise chickens.

Pretty cool.
Have a lot of Gray Fox on our property in certain areas. Occasionally a Red Fox. We have a big Red Fox that is a regular behind the house about 300 yds. distant.
Get to see that one on my game cameras quite a bit. A few years ago had a pair of Reds that would trot through our front yard every once in awhile.
Have never had a Gray come up near the house. Bobcats and Red Fox will for some reason.
Great Pic, thanks for sharing.

Love to hear them 'call' at night when it is still out. Sounds very much like a 'scream'. Many folks want to associate it with a Big Cat, not knowing it is simply a Fox.

Yep. Shot one really big Bobcat when I was in my 20s. Nowadays I see them and take pictures.
